Sound Issue's, Gettysburg Map Spawn Points

I don't know if anyone else is having a sound problem, but for me the musket fire is very low,and I had to strain to hear it. I only remember having this sound problem when the first beta patch was released a long time ago.

I just experienced what Grim Repear posted earlier about when I started a Sandbox SP game, and I found that my cannon were immediately engaged by rebels troops that spawned right in front of them, my poor men didn't even have time to unlimbered before being overrun, slaughtered, and captured.

One cool thing though the Rebel yell is really cool...kudos to the one who put that in.

There were no changes to the musket fire sounds or the sound code. Only the cav charge sounds and the rebel yell were added. Anyone else seeing this?

Mike,

As you might recall, many of us substituted the TC2M Battle sounds for the SOWGB sounds. Made a huge difference. I think I sent you some actually, but maybe not. Thatwas one of the first things I did, after also noticing the lowered volume of combat. Also, took out the Double-Quick bugle call. Drives me nuts. :laugh:

Jack, Powell you are right I have those burned, and placed in my SOWgb dvd pile. Damn, I wouldn't be experiencing this activation problem if I just remember. The old bean isn't working like it should.

Update:

Re-installing the game seems to have fixed my sound. I wonder what went wrong with the game though...anyway it's working.
