Fixes Upcoming
The upcoming features will likely overshadow some really great fixes, some long overdue. When the change-log is released, it will be long but concise, so, with this thread, a better explanation of the fixes is addressed.
I'll try to add to this daily, beginning with my favorites, and if the other team members see fit, they may wish to add to this also.
To begin with...the long overdue, 'Road March' fix.
Remember that first time you ordered a division road march. All the units moved to where the commander was and then to the roads. So, you learned to move your commander to the road first before issuing the road march command. OK, you're finally moving all units along the road, and then, change of orders. You need to form at a new location and you want to continue on the roads...won't happen easily. With a new Road March with change of destination or formation command, units leave road and move to commander first, Yikes. So, you frantically begin micromanaging every regiment back to Road March.
No more of that folks, with the new fix, units no longer move to the commander with Road March or any or the useroad commands...They Go Directly to the Nearest Road, then Continue via Road to Destination.

You guys are so cool. Many times That very thing happens and I end up going cross country, loosing fatigue, and not getting to the location as soon as I wanted to. which can, and does change the whole battle as you try to develop it. Thank you gentlemen.
Move Forward

Thanks guys! Excellent as always.
Re: Fixes Upcoming
Also got a lot of the twitching out of the road march. Not all, but it looks a ton better IMO.
Re: Fixes Upcoming
Speaking of the Road March, did you guys finally kill the frustrating brigade column ordering, i.e., the regiment has a order that slows advanced units until the "lead" unit---no matter where it was---could take its place at the head of the column? It really slows down the progress of the troops, and is why I rarely use the "use roads" command. Thanks. To begin with...the long overdue, 'Road March' fix.

Sorry. I suffer from a serious case of typosis. Don't worry, it's not contagious

Hold that thought, pretty sure that's fixed...let us know as soon as the patch is out. Road March should always be the path of less resistance.Speaking of the Road March, did you guys finally kill the frustrating brigade column ordering, i.e., the regiment has a order that slows advanced units until the "lead" unit---no matter where it was---could take its place at the head of the column? Sounds like the approach I take when I am asked by the wife if that dress makes her look fat.Road March should always be the path of less resistance.

Re: Fixes Upcoming
Another fix most dear to my heart, the Bugle Calls. Soon they will emanate from the source, unit, and not from the big speaker in the sky. So, bugle calls sounded at a distance will be soft, hit the F key, and they're with the unit, Loud.
In addition to this, other sounds will be added to the gui, toolbar...
