Graphics request for future patch 5000 :)

Hi.

I am wondering if you folks will be addressing the lack of graphics where commanders are concerned?

I mean, so far I have played this puppy so much my left eye has gone limp, and not once have I seen my commander or officers pull out their revolvers, or swords, and joined in on the battle.

Just wondering if you will be adding in these graphics or not in a later patch, or is it something you great people have already thought of, and it's in the new beta patch soon to tumble out of the Norb machine?

Cheers, and take it easy

Just ride them into a melee, same effect really. I suppose they could implement random leader kills if they are within 100 yards of the line. That would be fairly realistic.

Howdy doo SouthernSteel.

I suppose, it's the graphics I was hoping to one day see. But then again having too much happening on the scale which Norb has designed the game maybe too much for standard PC's.

I still can't figure how Norb managed having so much going on at once, and still be able to run this game on mid speed systems....it's just incredible.

Anyhoo...take it easy!

That and many individual leader sprite sets fell prey to the memory limitations of 32 bit XP. Along with bandaged soldiers, bands, full caissons for artillery, held horses for dismounted cavalry . . . .

Hi Jim, very good to hear from you.

Would you in the near future consider releasing a Windows 7 Edition which would allow you good people to take full advantage of what this particular game engine can provide (totally unknown to me). I know the majority of people are running Windows XP, but Windows 7 is on the climb since all new computers have Windows 7 installed, and I have noticed that some of the newer games, including older game titles run very smooth on Windows 7.

At any rate, a Windows 7 Edition would be a great addon to have. I would be willing to pay around $10.00 dollars for the addon if you folks ever decide on such a thing.

Cheers...
