Edit Post - this will add the whole Mod into one folder - just add to the Mods folder and activate it - there is no need to amend any other files.
The attachment BlueGreyButtons.rar is no longer available
The attachment Toolbar.rar is no longer available
This is a very small Mod that will change the color of the buttons to Blue and Grey.

This Mod will not alter the design of your buttons display - my toolbar \ button display is altered!

Blue – the selection is active
Grey – in-active \ not selected

Place in your – Scourge of War \ Mods \ Your Mod Name \ Graphics \ Toolbar

The download contains a folder called Toolbar – with the buttons file inside of it. So if your Mod contains a Toolbar – folder – place the buttons inside of it.

Hi Davinci.

Not bad looking, I'll definitely give it a try.

Thanks...

I thought I got it. I'm at the main screen, and that is about it.....oh well.

Repost if possible.

RapidShare - does seem to have problems - but due to the file size being so small approx. 19kb - I put a link at the top of the page!

Hey, the real credit goes to the Original Designers – they came up with some very clever button designs considering such a small area to work with!

Hi Davinci,

I like the look of your mod - thanks!

I've put your Buttons.dds file in a new folder called 'Toolbar' in the appropriate folder in MTG's courier and maps mod (which I've had for a few days):

C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Mods\Courier&MiniMapMods1102\CouriersAndMaps\Graphics\Toolbar

I've selected the courier and maps mod and that is working, but the toolbar hasn't changed. Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

Should I replace the base Buttons.dds file with yours???

Thanks again

Too many folders in your mod structure, should be:

C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Mods\Courier&MiniMapMods1102\Graphics\Toolbar

Or something like that, not sure what CouriersAndMaps\ was doing there. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks RebBugler,

Have done as you suggested and the Maps & Courier mod now lists its features on the Mod screen, which it didn't do before, so looks like that mod is more embedded in some way, though it was already working fine.

The toolbar buttons are still failing to turn blue and grey, though.

I shall have another play with at the weekend, with clearer head. I fear I am in danger of mucking something up by tinkering well beyond my knowledge of Windows etc.

Thanks again,

I should have explained better, looks like you tried to put a mod in a mod...won't work. It must follow the 'Base' structure, with the mod name acting as the base. If you want the two mods combined, you must eliminate one mod folder and combine the internal folders of both. Hope this explained it better.

Thanks again.

I think I've done this - combining the structure in one mod folder.

I had an existing Mod:
C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Mods\Courier&MiniMapMods1102\CouriersAndMaps\

I added Davinci's Toolbar.dds file in a folder called Graphics\Toolbar.
Then, after your earlier post I took out the \CouriersAndMaps level.

I now have Davinci's Toolbar.dds file in:
C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Mods\Courier&MiniMapMods1102\Graphics\Toolbar

and this seems to mimic the Base structure as far as I can see.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks again.
