Scourge of War Boards

Okay, trying out the demo to evaluate the game. Got to the point where I instructed Cutler to move his troops by road. I clicked on Cutler, double clicked on a destination point on a road, and finally column formation. However, I did not see the Use Road icon anywhere so I was unable to instruct the brigade to use the road. Where did I go wrong? Thanks.

Use Roads is in the Movement 'tab'. There are three different tab buttons, the middle one focuses on movement orders, top is combat, bottom is command. Click on the Movement one (middle) and you'll see a few different buttons pop up on the order button island.
