Multiplayer Problem

I try to log into the lobby, however, after hitting the Enter Lobby button, the game semi-freezes for a moment, and then doesn't do anything. After re-hitting the Enter Lobby, it tells me it's not connected. I don't know what to do from here.... help?

Try just waiting once. Hit enter lobby, then go do something else. I'm wondering if there is an error message in there somewhere if you wait. I'm not sure, but there's very few things that can occur here. It can't connect, your user name/password is wrong, the lobby is down. That's about it.

There is nothing for me to do but wait. The "Enter Lobby" tag above the button holds there for a few seconds regardless of where I move the mouse. Is there a place I can go to see if an error message developed, perhaps in a log?

There is a log in the work folder, sowgb.log. My best guess is that something is preventing the game from getting out to the net. It's not doing anything fancy at this point and all the communication that we use here is through a third party lobby dll used in lots of games. So it's a matter of figuring out what's causing the issue. If you have any virus software, it may help to add the game as an exception.
