Roaming camera
How can I, or is there way to fix the camera, say to the top of the commanders hat.
It seems that when the down a hill or uphill the camera stays at that hieght, so I'm always adjusting the camera.

Re: Roaming camera
I don't think there is a way. There appears to be about 2 feet of 'gear lash' on the camera mounting mechanism.
You just have to have your thumb close to the spacebar when riding up a hill.

I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Ah well, though i'd ask just in case I was missing something. Mouse wheel is what I use for camera, and its getting about that much "gear lash" now! :woohoo:
Thanks Marching Thru Georgia for the fast reply Sir.
Re: Roaming camera
You can attach the camera to a unit or a commander via the "FF" key presses (3rd "F" to detach) .This provides very interesting views and perspectives--but still needs mouse wheel to raise or lower cam view for hill climbs/descents etc.
Re: Roaming camera
It would be a pretty simple feature to add, having the camera stay level to the ground.
Re: Roaming camera
Well, Norb – I really do wish that you would add this feature back into the game.It would be a pretty simple feature to add, having the camera stay level to the ground.
The other game allowed you to set a Commandheight= , this game needs that same feature. I spend just about the same amount of time fighting the enemy, as I do fighting with the camera height.
This has got to be the biggest complaint I have with the new game, constantly adjusting the camera with every move.

NSD,
Anything yall could do would be great, I liked the way that you could set-up TC2M with just the follow key and the CommandHieght command and that was all it took.

Thanks for submitting this request, Little Powell !The request is in.
Hopefully this CommandHeight feature, and the 10: 1 Sprite Ratio – will be included in the next patch – after Norb & Team – gets a little bit of free time.
