Just bought the game yesterday

I have got to say, the gameplay is great. Team did a great job in that respect. Already played Buford and Meredith. But I have one MAJOR complaint.

There are no scenarios to play as the Union I corps on Day 1, or the XI on Day 1, or play the entire Day 2 battle (Peach Orchard, Wheatfield, Devils Den, Round Top) from either side. This was the entire reason I bought the game, to play the battle on a larger scale, not to play as the Iron Brigade for just 30 minutes. To me, the real enjoyment comes from trying to see if you could do a better job than Howard did against Rodes and Early, not just playing for 30 minutes to capture and hold a checkpoint in McPherson's Woods.

I know nothing about modding, but is it possible to mod these scenarios? If so, is it far too advanced for someone who just plays pc games, rather than creates them?

I know the team put a ton of hard work and time into the game, and I don't want to seem to critical of their efforts because the final product is fantastic, but I was looking forward to playing the larger scenarios involving several corps, similar to TCM2, and am very disappointed that opportunity doesn't exist.

Check Rebbuglers Bugles and Flags mod. I think he has full day 2 scenarios where you can play Longstreet on day 2. Randy - Can you tell him exactly which version has that? If you don't want to use his full mod, you can just use the scenarios as well (we can explain how to do that, not difficult)

As far as Day 1 Union Corps scenarios, the 5th scenario you control the XI Corps (although the scenario focus's on Barlow).

I Corps, this will come in another mod. Speaking of that, there will be bonus scenarios released in the feature patch that will have everything you have requested, and much more.

Also check out the scenario, Sickles Stays Home. It is a corps level what-if scenario where the player commands the 3rd Corps.

Like LP said, check out my Bugles and Flags mod, 2nd Day South Corps level is covered by several scenarios. In the meantime, many more scenarios are in the works, plus new GB maps, this game is just beginning.

Thanks Little Powell and Rebbugler. I know nothing about Modding or Mods. I've got no idea how to add those scenarios to the game. Is there modding for dummies? Or should I just hold tight and wait for the new patch that includes the larger scenarios?

Installing and playing mods is a snap. Download, unzip, follow 'Read Me' instructions...
