Released Mod Threads

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Under the heading of articles you have a link to modifications. In there you have 33 mods. Would it be possable to have modifications with it's own heading on that same bar as articles?

Oh I just thought of something else. Perhaps it could be possable to organize mods into sub catgories: like maps, oobs, terrain, uniforms , etc ,etc. Just a thought.

The modifications link is all of these mods hosted on mikesla's site (currently under construction)

Hi Little Powell.

Actually all of the mods are in your forums area, you just have to find the threads. Also, again, my webpage was copied, so of course if I wanted too change my website (which I did)would cause problems for you, this is not my responsiblity if the links here are not working.

I did this out of my sheer enjoyment of the game, so please do not make it look like to others that I am responsible for the problems with your mod section, because that is what I am taking from your above post.

Now, with that being said I have uploaded some of the files back onto my website, but they will not be there forever, so please update your links.

Remember, all of the mods are in your forums area, all it requires is some leg work.

later!

Actually, I only found one that was directly hosted on your site. I can't remember which one it was now (I didn't post it). I'll see if I can find it again. I can just contact that poster and see if he can re-upload somewhere else.

Edit: Wait I saw your other thread the the links are fixed now.. Cool.

Hi Little Powell.

Yeah, I noticed that myself. I just took a look at the sizes of the files, and they are so small it will never cause a problem for me (server storage), so if you like you can just keep the links for the downloads as they are, I'll store these mods for as long as you like. I won't delete these files there is really no need.

If you noticed that the files are downloaded directly from my website server, so no one has to enter my webpage to access them.

Cheers...

Hi,
I have a question. Can you change the location, day and time of arrival for units?
Example: you want to have Jeb Stuart arrive on 1, July.
If you can how would you do that?
Thanks,

You can do pretty much anything you want in scenario modding. Are you wanting to mod a particular scenario, or create one from scratch?

Hello everyone,

(For the mod creators or those who manage this important section of the forum) :cheer:

It would be, 'good thing', to indicate the version number of the mod. :P

This is to highlight new versions that are updated. :silly:
