Ai Courier Delay?

Hi.
When playing courier you know a player has to send his orders via courier to his un'tc'd regiments for the orders to be obeyed. I am wondering why I don't see this for the enemy ai? Is this a hidden process that takes place, and is the enemy delayed when issuing their orders?
If there isn't a delay wouldn't this give the enemy an unfair advantage since their orders are immediately issued & obeyed?
Just wondering about this since I've been playing courier.
My inquiring mind would like to know.

Yes, I suppose it is a bit of a cheat. Even the friendly AI does it. You give a brigade commander an order to move and all the regiments respond immediately. My guess is that the programming mechanics is too involved for that realistic behavior to be included.

On a related note (somewhat), if I have a brigade commnader TC'd...will he still respond to a courier and move his brigade where I say....or do I have to manually click a spot for him to go to?

Currently you can't move TC'd units by courier orders, but it's going to be fixed.

I play the courier system all the time. You have to have the setting Courier by Brigade for the brigade to order the regiments around. If you have that option selected, then you must remember that most times if not all times, the Brigade commander is on his regiments butts. This is an important factor because if your commander is less than 300 yards from the the unit being ordered, the courier will make a B-line to the regiments instead of running to the closest road. Also the closer your commander is to the unit the quicker the order is received / obeyed. And with Brigade command being so close to his regiments it is almost automatic.
