I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

Hi.
I enjoy playing this game now using courier, but there is one thing that I have found a little annoying, and that is when I TC a regiment, and then send them to execute an order say move to another location for instance, I of course send a courier to relay the new command. Now if I do this for every unit I'm soon swamped by courier messages for each tc'd unit.
Anyway around this? or is there an option to remove that particular annoyance?
Love the game guys...
Oh, Thanks for getting me hooked into using the courier JMayer aka JJ Gordon.

Hi.
I didn't know there was another post concerning this very thing. I just started using courier.
Sorry to have bothered you.

I have read the post in which you have directed me too, and the post is NOT addressing what I am experiencing.
I'm being flooded with courier messages only, not having to tc, and un'tc units to send courier messages.
Just thought I would clarify my position.

In SandBox mode which is all I play, I think we may have the same situation - since I am an unrepetant micromanager, I often have 2-3 batteries and 2-3 regiments TC'd. Then I may issue a command for the division commander to move or attack. An order will arrive for each of the TC'd units every time. I have "Courier at this level" set to Army. I have gotten used to this and sometimes un-TC some units just to avoid being bombarded by messages whick interrupt my thought process.
For me, I wish for the ability to turn off messages being sent to TC'd units.
Latest patch applied.

And the courier message flooding happens because of the not reacting TC'ed units.

When a unit id TC'd, the player becomes its' personal commander. So when the nominal AI commander sends that unit an order, the player receives it. If you ignore it, the AI commander sends a reminder, etc. Micromanagement has its cost.

Alrighty, I'll live with it.
Later MTG.
