Hi.

This must be just me, but I'm finding the sounds muffled. The sounds are not crisp as I think they should be.

Later!

And this happened with the latest patch? I didn't think anything had been done with the sound code, but the sounds were made clearer. Rebbugler - I can't remember exactly what was done with the sounds. Was the bitrate increased? Maybe your sound card doesn't like the higher bitrate.

Only the bugle calls were adjusted...volume increased. Regarding this thread, I'm hearing no sound changes or problems with the latest patch.

This small sound issue has me written all over it. I re-installed my sound drivers, looked at all the settings, installed an older patch, and gave it a try, the sounds were there no longer muffled. I re-installed the newest patch, and the sounds are there.

Sorry for the bother guys...

I think the bugle calls are too loud now, and if you give 2 or 3 commands to a brigade the bugles are just too overpowering and repetitive.(IMHO)

Reb,

I like your new bugle sounds I can hear them now. I did have a couple spots on the new Alpine map that sould does die. It just stops but when you move over a few inches it starts again clear as a bell by the way.

I hope they put in some of your rebel flags reb so we can all use them in game without using mods.

Thanks again,
JJMayer
