Even I use WIN 7 x64, 2 computers (1 PC + 1 notebook), but I never had your problem.
I suggest you install the game on [C: \] as the default run the installation. If you install it in the folder [C: \ Program Files (x86)], SOW may not work well. This folder as [Program Files] is protected by the OS.

Hello ess1 ,

Have you installed the Beta Patch 3.1 ?

Below is an earlier thread that has some answers on what to look at on your machine.

I installed it on my Windows 7 64-bit machine and haven't had any problems with it. Make sure you are putting it in the native directory (c:/norbsoftdev) as suggested above. If that still doesn't work, deactivate it, uninstall it, and download a clean new copy from the website.

Thank you all very much for your prompt and helpful suggestions.
At the moment I do not have access to my XP comp. (getting a new psu)so am unable to Deactivate.

Pretty certain that this isn't the problem as i cannot see cursor in demo mode.
Meanwhile I'll try the text change - if I knew how to! Help please :)

Have not installed the patch yet. will await access to other comp. in order to deactivate.

On deactivation: my Internet Security (Kaspersky) is notifying me each time that programme is a "keylogger". Presume this is the DRM.

Further to my last post.
Have now activated in Win7 comp and d/l beta patch - all in default Norb folder.

Still cannot see cursor. I cannot find the .ini file or a way to change text.
Whilst searching for above I saw this in .../work:

Does any of above have bearing on problem?
