Disappointment

A fan of the Take Command series, I recently downloaded the demo for Scourge of War.

However, to my chagrin, the Brigade level Tutorial mission included is unplayable due to repeated crashing! Sometimes it will crash less than a minute into the mission, other times I'll make it several minutes into the game, but crashing is incessant and making the game unplayable. This is deeply disappointing to me and I hope that there is some way to resolve it. I have tried installing the beta patch but it didn't seem to change anything.

As eager as I am to play it, I do not want to buy the game and find that I cannot play it, so I'm afraid I'll have to wait until I can figure out what's wrong with the demo.

Any suggestions are welcome. I do not know if this is a well known problem. Also, let me know if there's any system information I should provide to aid in the bug fixing process.

Hi savagerabbit ,

Did you install the latest patch 3.1 ?

Also, can you post the info inside your Gettysburg --> Work--> SOWGB.log file ?

And what are your system specs, that could help with your problem.

That certainly sucks! I wish it were different. We have fixed a lot of bugs in our beta patches and we hope to go official and update the demo soon. But if you install the beta patch, it will hopefully give you a better experience.
