Updated my video card (not because of the game) and can now play at the highest settings. Big difference. There are like fences and stuff now. Haha.

Anyway, one of the events that sometimes happens in the Jackson scenario is that Robinson's division leaves their defensive position on the down slope of Oak Ridge and moves forward all the way to the Willoughby Run valley to their front. If D.H. Hill's division isn't there, they just stand in column. They don't take a defensive position or offensive position, they're just in column. And whenever Hill's division pops up they get obliterated (good thing for the Confederates). Now, often they don't do this and they hold their original position, but if they're going to march out that far in front they should at least be prepared for Hill coming down that road and not just standing there. I guess you can tweak the AI's aggressiveness on your own to keep them where they're at... but it might be good if the code or whatever was re-written to just hold them where they're at 100% of the time or where they at least move forward and form a line of battle. As is is unfair to the North, I think. It's just disrespectful to Robinson and his men. They should at least be in a line of battle before I kill and capture all of them. :)

Checked the scripting of this one and several randoms have Robinson moving and being given hold orders. Something is amiss if he is not defending himself with appropriate actions, the AI should be his ally.

So, good point. This will be looked into for future releases. As is, these stock scenarios are pretty well set and would take an act of congress to get them changed.

Thanks for the input...

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, if it doesn't change... no big deal. Just an observation.
