Changes to the Website!

Got problems with the site. An idea on how to make it better. This is the place to discuss it.

I was wondering if you had a different website besides this forum/website?

What do you think about running ads for different civil war stuff on the website, and have those website put up ads about this one.

That would bring a lot of customers.

Find a way to advertise the game more, eg. send it to Toy's R Us or Target and Barnes and Nobel.

[hide]And one last thing, what should we do about the guests. It is good to have them, but should all forum content be avaible to them, such as the future Modder's Corner, Bug and Help Section, Tactics Section?[/hide]

Guests can't post and obviously can't read R&R. That's about it and that's how I like it. I want the shy ones to be able to come over and get tips.

I personally do not like ads. To me it cheapens stuff. It also is a pain waiting for all the ads to load when get try to get to the site.

This is the only website there is, but there are two domains that point to it war3d.net and norbsoftware.com

My earlier post about the being able to click on the buttons is now incorrect.

It isn't working anymore.

Though it did...

That's a timing thing and it drives me crazy too. Happens on many forums and other sites. Happens on our Mantis board as well. For some reason the default timed action always overrides what you want.

It is now working now. Weird. One last thing. I can go on, it says new post. I go reply on a post. Now I get more new posts. Then, I go out of the forum. Then it says I have new posts in another forum which didn't origionaly say I did have a new post.

Huh?
