... where is the Napoleonic mod?!?!





Can't wait to see the first new sprites... love when a game's era is changed, and Grognards REALLY didn't do it for me:)

I have my sprites dusted up a bit and have had a(very)basic couple of scenarios done to get them ingame plus two non-historical OOB's and some maps, but have not had the time recently to get them into the current build.

When I do I'm sure it will be a basic hand-over to the mod community so it can bloom.
I'm sure there are others trying to get their versions done as well, so stay tuned. B)

Any chance you could give us a taste of the sprites? Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top?

Out of curiosity... any chance you'll be able to get cavalry acting and fighting properly... and maybe even a square?:)

As is, it is basically infantry with light cavalry support and arty galloper guns..... as far as the sprites go, but all is moddable. :laugh:

I have two basic OOB uniform sets: one is pre 1806 the other is after.
Square is coming I believe.

Oh man, that is awesome. Completely and totally awesome. I love the ACW, but the Napoleonic era beats it out for me; I cannot WAIT to play that. Any idea when you might throw it out there for people to play with?:)

These are sprites Tim and I did some time ago and formed the basis for the Nappy Horse and Musket Mod. I've cleaned them up a bit and made some sparse southern European maps and a basic scenario or two but as they are they act as ACW dressed up in Nappy gear.
Having said that the ACW was fought in many ways the same. ...and the Square will come.

What this will take is someone to take the csv's of the Horse and Musket and transpose them into the SOWGB csv's Logistics file.....and some new screens. I'm sure there are those who will do this eventually as well as make more Nappy sprites.
