Cemetery Hill/ Culps Hill Scenario Series - Version 1.2

Download Link

To install, just unzip to your Mods folder. Then go into Modifications in your game and enable the mod.

Description: Here are five scenario's that cover the July 2nd night attacks on Cemetery Hill and Culps Hill, as well as the July 3rd morning battle on Culps Hill. The idea was to cover these crucial battles as they are not covered in the stock scenarios. These scenarios were researched and designed using The Gettysburg Atlas by Phil Laino.

CH01-July2-If Practicable (C-Div) - You are in command of General Early's division. Your mission is to take Cemetery Hill. This is a confederate version of GB15 - Brickyard Lane.

CH02-July2- Johnson's Assault (C-Div) - You are in command of Johnson's division. Your mission is to take Culps Hill. This is a confederate version of GB16 - Greene's Alone.

CH03-July3-Maryland Vs Maryland (U-Brig) - You are in command of Lockwood's Brigade. This scenario covers the fight in Pardee Field and the Union's attempt to take back the breastworks on lower Culps Hill.

CH04-July3-Hold The Works (C-Brig) - You are in command of Steuart's Brigade. Your mission is to hold the breastworks your brigade captured the night before.

CH05-July3-Take Back Those Works (U-Corps) - You are in command of Slocum's Corps. Your mission is to hold Culps Hill against the rebel attack, as well as hold the breast works on lower Culps Hill.

Each scenario is historical with variants.

Indeed sir. There are variants, some where you have support, some where you have none, some where the Rebels are aggressive, some where they aren't.. But regardless, it's a toughy. The federals really were on their game that morning in the real battle, and you have to be on yours to win it... :)

I assume these are extractred to the sscenario file in the SDK. Are they playable under the Bugle & Flag MOD which is my prefered way to play?

Matt,
you should rename the scenarios to GBCH01-GBCH05 to have them listed right below/above other GB scenarios, just in case there will be Champion Hill, Chantilly, Chattanooga or Chickamauga scenarios in the future.

Attached is a small update for the scenarios with some text adjustments and script fixes. [file name=GBCH_update.rar size=69186]http://www.norbsoftdev.com/media/kunena ... update.rar[/file]

Thanks both Little Powell and ADukes!

One question, how do I know if the update has downloaded/fixed the 5 new scenarios?

Yes they can be extracted that way, or you can just put them straight in Work\Scenarios

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you wondering if the patch has fixed these scenario's? Any changes made in the patch will effect these.

Cool...made my day.

If the scenarios have included files, gamescreens for specific scenario splashscreens for example, then they should go above the B&F mod. Otherwise, any order will do.

Just saw Matt's post, stand alone scenarios won't show up in Modifications, just User Scenarios, so no concern. Just have Bugles and Flags activated. :)
