Scourge of War Boards

Just now I have logged in successfully and typed a fairly long message. On attempting to send it I was informed that the "general public" was not invited to post so please b****r off.

The Forum had clearly somehow lost my log-in reference. I then repeated the exercise, checked my name present in the right hand margin and tried again. Exactly the same result and my name had by then vanished from the right hand margin.

I will try once more, only this time doing the message first in MS WORD so I don't lose it for a third time. Could the forum not keep the message displayed so you have a chance to log-in again and still send it ? Deleting the message on rejection is a pain.

Or does the Forum perhaps have something against me ?

Funny -- I've noticed that I have to log in everytime I come to the site, even though I have asked it to save my login information. Perhaps this is a setting in your browser?

It just did it to me again. Third time ... luckily I have the message saved this time

Seems that the log-in is dropping out during the time you are typing a longish message.

I am sure that it saves it in some type of cookie, maybe you don't have cookies enabled or somehow it's ignoring them from this site. I never log in again, it always saves it. I use Opera.
