Scourge of War Boards

Hey I was just curious I have played TCM2 for about a year now and love it to death. I always notice different ranks by different users names. I was just wondering how I got promoted in both games? Im sure it is by completing the scenarios and beating the game but how do I go about this process? Thanks to All that work on these games you guys are my hereos!!!

Ranks in the games and on the forums are 2 entirely different things. To get a higher rank on the forums, you just need to post more messages. For the games if you win all the scenarios you need to send the file created when you win the last one to Norb here at Norbsoft.

That has inspired a very cool idea! We need a rank and graphic for those that complete the game! Something on the forums to recognize the elite! Something that will never be next to my name lol

Very, very cool idea. You get a rank and graphic for beating the game on Normal, and a different one for beating it on Hard etc... Awesome.

Speaking of promotions, I see completion of the 1st tutorial is "required for promotion". I went through the 1st tutorial to the end where the brigade is formed on the objective on the east side of Shead's Woods, but didn't see a promotion for it. Now, I did use the + key to speed things up and didn't go through every evolution mentioned in the tutorial (since I already felt comfortable with them). What should I have done to get the promotion?

I think you need to do all the manuvers. At least that is what I did when I didn't get a promtion at first. I then went and did it again all the way and got the promotion.

Maybe name them the Military Governor of various towns. Let them decide if the town is in the Confederacy or the Union. And if they beat it on Grognard, give them some regional command.

I did the same thing as you and even ran on the + key for an extra hour, no promotion .

Wait for the upcomming patch or till 10:50:00.

The tutorial designer left a few slightly important lines out of one of the files. It will be fixed with the next patch.
