Improved or higher scores

Replayed Brig Tutorial, got a higher score, but it did not register on the high score page, even after letting clock run to 12:30 (2 hrs). What's the scoop?

I don't know why it would do that. It should register the best score.

What I did is; 1.
saved game part way through scenario. 2. then hit "
End Game", reviewed results. 3.Restarted game from
resume battle in that menu, continued to play.
What I should have done is restarted the
saved game from the
Main menu, which would of kept the score going. I remember there was a simalar glitch in TC2M like that. In that case, if you hit
end battle, then hit "
resume game", your
offical score would stop, but your game score would change and be meaningless in continued play. I'll experiment to see if that is still true.

The tutorial designer left a few slightly important lines out of one of the files.

It will be fixed with the next patch.

Is the patch still on for this weekend?

It always depends on the results of the testing. We have to get through the list of issues we are fixing for this patch. Then we have to test both SP and MP to make sure we have not broken something else in the code by accident or due to unanticipated interactions. With a game this complex, unexpected changes are almost to be expected.

OK, the higher score did register over the old score using the
"What I should have done" method. IMO if a player uses "
resume battle" your offical score does not change, thus you lose a higher score with continued play.

Yes, to reiterate: 'Saved Games' retain high scores, so starting a saved game continues your high score effort. 'End Game or End Battle' clears and does not retain that score.
The final 'High score' is recorded upon completion of the scripted ending time.

I would only add that "
End Battle" is what I referred to, not "
End Game". As far as I know the completed scripted time line would be a true score. Players don't always have the time to complete a scenario in one session, so they have to have a way to preserve their points, then finish the game later on, which should be done from the "
Main Menu".

Tried using "End Game" to see if it registered a score on the "High Score Page", which it did not. So to the best of my knowledge, you have to play out the entire time of a scripted scenario to receive a score.
