When I click on the links, I get this page:

"Directory has no index file.
Browsing this site or directory without an index file is prohibited."

Anyone else get this? Is there a way I can browse to it on www.mastersofthefield.com?

Click the link at the very top of the post that says Auto Updater.

If you follow that tutorial you will see where to enter the links into the updater program.

Hey Thanks alot for putting this on here it was really easy to follow and has worked perfect. I do have a few questions.
1. A message popped up asking if I wanted to install the newest patch so I did I just wanted to know how I knew the new patch was activated?
2. Will automatic updates always pop up like that?
once again thanks alot.

1. The version number is the same as the last beta patch. You can look in the readme in the game folder to check. And of course if you play multiplayer you'll find out quick because you can only play with people on the same version.

2. For as long as I'm around, I can update the version when norb releases a patch and it will alert you. I will have to adapt to whatever method norb uses to distribute the patch, it may be different once it's official and not beta.

Finally, many thanks for trying it and for the feedback. :)

Just tried this. The CMB003 mod works fine. The Textured minimap mod hangs up and never completes. The last two give me an error message that no mods exist at that address. What am I doing wrong?

I got the error report.

OK first try pressing ctrl-alt-delete (to get to the task manager) and terminate any ModUpdater.exe processes. Then try again. I just got this problem myself.

The updater tries to access the mod's online index file and it waits 15 seconds to do so, if there's a problem connecting it will tell you no mod exists there. Not sure why it's doing it, unless it's just the internet getting slow at that moment.

I tried again and it worked.

That fixed it, sort of. I was able to load and update the #3 and the minimaps, then had to ctrl/alt/del again aand end the process to get the last two to load and update.

Thanks for the assist!

Steve

Still shouldn't happen though, hopefully I'll figure it out.
