I don’t know the answer to your question, but if the union army had these at Gettysburg and handed them out to everyone, the war would have been over very quickly.

Slightly Jumping Topic

I was playing around with my OOB and gave everyone in both armies one of these weapons. Even with a zero score in two categories that affects the firing, these weapons act close to machine-guns.

The rate of fire is so great, that it is a constant blanket of smoke in front of the men, I guess the lesson learnt here is to wait on the sdk for a better way of adjusting the range of the muskets.

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!

400 yds for the range and they reload every approx. 9 seconds as opposed to the normal 20 seconds for everyone else except the breechloaders the Union cavalry has which is 15 to 16 seconds.
War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over.

I think they are a little overpowered. In less than 7 minutes, they routed two full batteries of McLaws's artillery at a range of 369yrds or more. Each gun had 5 men left except one with 8. I know they were powerful, but this seems a bit extreme.

Speaking of sharpshooters, are we supposed to be able to re-supply them? Because I couldn't in the Ward scenario. Thanks.
Sorry. I suffer from a serious case of typosis. Don't worry, it's not contagious :)
