Mod Manager.

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Mod Manager.

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi.

I know there is a mod updater, is there going to be a mod manager?

Just wondering.

Later!

What does "mod manager" mean to you? Whatever functionality you're imagining probably already exists either in game or in the updater.

Hi Garnier.

I really don't know how SOW will manage it's mods. For TC2M, it often required to overwrite existing files. A mod manager will allow you to have mods in another directory, and you load the manager up, choose which mods you wish to play with at that moment, and it installs, and makes backups of all the necessary files for game play.

Cheers...

The game has built-in mod manager.

Mikesla, as ADukes said the game handles it.

But it's very simple, like most games now, you have your mods each in their own folder, and in the game you can select which ones to use, you can use multiple mods at once, you choose the order that it loads them.

Hi mikesla

Have you checked out and tried Norbs Small Mod Sample ?

It is very cool the way this game handles Mods compared to TC2M when cutting & pasting files was the way to go !!

Hi Guys...

Thanks. I downloaded it. Great, no need for a mod manager then.

Cheers..
