This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Disabling AI

Post by sweeteye »

I would like to create a small test scenario for myself. One thing I cannot figure out is how to disable the AI so I can place the units in position. Could someone tell me the command to enter? Or do I have to wait for the sdk to come out?

Add:

[Debug]
NoAI=1

to the sowgb.ini file.

To position ALL troops, you'll also need:

AlphaOmega=1

Set up completely for your requested design needs as:

[Debug]
NoAI=1
AlphaOmega=1

So it works the same as TC2M. Interestingly enough only one side remains stationary for me although they will not go into combat.I cannot take control of the moving side. I will keep working with it. I actually added the alpha omega part and it did not work.

You have to make sure and check the Custom Options button.
