Run Time Error in Demo

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

Run Time Error in Demo

I downloaded and installed all appeared to be normal.

Run the game and this is what I get see attached file


PC specifications

OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600
OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation
Processor x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11 GenuineIntel ~2560 Mhz
Total Physical Memory 2,048.00 MB
Video NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO 768.00 MB

There's no file attached. You just start up the game and it crashes? Or do you do a certain function like play a scenario?

This forum sets the permissions of those files wrong. I don't know why or how to fix it. I have to research it and ADukes is on it too. I've fixed the permissions so it shows up now.

Please tell us the exact steps to recreate this error, or does it happen on launch.

As soon as I launch the program I get the error. Never loads.

Chances are high that the download of the demo got corrupted. I would download a new version of the demo and do a full install and let us know what happens.

There is also an MD5 checksum that you can use to verify that you got the full program.

Not sure what this is "MD5 checksum", but I did do anoher complete download from a different site then the first one and got the same error

The MD5 checksums is to determine if the downloaded file is corrupt or not.

Ran the MD5 checksum, and the file checked good. Sure hope we can find out what might be causing this as the game looks very good.
