I just bought the game and when I enter the code it refuses to activate the game - it comes up with error 291984. Any ideas?

Is your internet connection active when you try to activate?

Mine failed too. 962970 was the error code. Says it failed activation. i have a constant internet cable connection

When i control "check activation page" http://www.scourgeofwar.com/verifycode.htm it says my game is activated but when i run the game and try to activate it fails. User code: 864171

I have the same problem, and it's pissing me off, to put it mildly.

When I try copy/pasting the code from my email into the activation box, I get a lovely message saying "Activate: SoWGB failed activation. User code: 030274". Then it automatically starts the demo instead.

So... yeah. This is just too stupid. If someone would please fix this so that I could play the game I bought, that would be just splendid. Thanks.

When I check the "StopCopy Net Activation Check Page", it tells me I have:

"Allowable activations: 1

Remaining activations: 1".

Norb will take care of it...

Same problem. Copied and pasted activation code and I get (Activate: SOWGB failed activation. User Code:363172). Internet connection is obviously good as I'm logged onto the forum.

Yes- internet is on.

Disabled my firewall and activation worked. Thanks Norb! Now let the battle begin!

I had this problem and deactivated my antivirus program. All is working fine now.
