What can we expect for Long Scenarios? Meaning what length of time, the longer the better as far as I'm concerned. :cheer: In the past some scenarios seemed like they could have been longer, especially in large scenarios.

They range from 30 minutes to one that is 2 hours long.

Thanks; LP
I'm one of those players who enjoys the manuovering before a battle really takes hold. With a little extra time, I can make one scenario play numerous ways from it's intended script (a way of modding without modding). So if one of you Modders out there create a really long scenario, you can bet your Red Sox tickets I'll be playing it.

That seems shorter than a good deal of TCM 2 scenarios. Any reason why? Or were the typical engagements at Gettysburg just of a shorter duration?
Not being critical just curious.

Also,
In the longer scenarios will the enemy AI resupply its guns and troops? That was a real killer in the TC2M long scenarios and OP. You could just wait for the enemy arty to run very low on ammo ans then hit them if you wanted to.

To add to Greg's ?; Would the AI only resupply the units with no ammo?

Maybe a longer "What-if?" would in order, say 3 to 6 hours long.

You know, I never thought about the enemy running out of ammo, but the scenario's are action packed until the very end. So they must be resupplying (question I will bring up with Norb).
They are plenty long enough though.. The shorter scenario's are brigade sized or are for smaller engagements, so their times of 30-45 minutes feel long enough.. You can always go back to the battle after you get your score, if you want to play longer.

Playing beyond the designed scenerio time line, loses it appeal, (for results), for they don't count.

A properly scripted scenario provides 'safe places' with an Ammo Wagon. Upon depleting ammo, unit automatically retreats there. Safe places need to be progressive for very long scenarios, following the flow of the battle design. Repeaters (sharpshooters) must be especially considered, they're empty within 30 minutes of engagement.
