Units under Artillery Fire

In TC2M, if you are marching your infantry and an enemy shell hits the unit, they double-quick, very annoying if you are trying to attack an enemy position and you don't want a regiment getting mauled 300 yards in advance of your position. Has this been rectified?
Also, cavalry flees 100 yards if they are hit with a single round and are not engaged. Is this rectified so cavalry do not retreat every time a shell hits them?
