This team has a lot to live up to. Adding MP has doubled the entire game. We have ended up spending a ton of time getting through the MP issues in order to make sure that it is solid out of the gates. It's great to read about when the AI works right. It doesn't always :) Thanks for the link.

MP is the key and the right way to go... My brother got me into the CW era and we played Sids Gettysburg for ages. This is looking really great and I can't wait until it's out, but don't rush it, we've waited this long a few more months won't hurt and personally I would prefer a solid MP version over the SP version.

There's nothing else like it out there.. The other night, my fellow testers and I played a Corps size MP game. The screen was filled with blue and gray troops, musket fire, hand-to-hand, shells bursting everywhere, it was intense!!

Okay Little Powell, your killing me with that kind of talk!

It's like your talking about a grand feast, to a bunch of starving people!
Tell us more!!!

Any screenshots of the battle?

And who won the battle?

Don't tease us like that!! B)

I think the blue bellies won that round. It was a test so we weren't paying that much attention to strategy etc... It's the first time we've tried a Corps sized battle and it ran beautifully. I've got some screens, but we had all graphic options on low so they are very low res.. Still look cool though, so I'll run it by Jim to see if it's ok if I post.. If not, I'll try to get some high res shots of the next time we have a big battle like that. :)

I am very sure this must have been asked, so here it goes.

What type of beast of a computer would someone need to run this game?

From what I have seen from the pics, and watching the movie, I would say you might require a 3.5ghz with a monster of a video card just to get it too run at it's full potential.

I hope I'm wrong  . I play TCM2 quite abit, and would no doubt buy GSoW as soon it comes out.

Chat later!

Ok here is what I found. These are minimums so you might want more to run the hi res stuff.

Proposed Recommended:

1. DirectX 9c
2. Intel Core2 Duo
3. 2Gb RAM
4. 1Gb Harddrive space
5. 256Mb Video Card with DirectX 9 support
6. Video card should NOT be on board, but should be seperate, no shared memory
7. Some sort of sound :)
8. Monitor, keyboard, and mouse :)
9. XP or Vista

Thanks for the reply.

Okay great I have thos items covered except one. You mentioned above that no Video onboard.

I am currently using an ATI 3200HD (onboard).

Do you think there will be support for onboard cards?

Later, and thanks again.
