I see in the Purchase section of the official website there is a CD case shown. Is this just some filler art for the page or has the decision been made to market the game on CD with the case shown?

If we do get to the point where we ship cd's, then that will be the cover. Right now we are only working on the download only portion. Because of our limited time and resources, much of this will depend on demand and sales. Also many of these sort of things will appear after the initial release of the download version of the game. We going to keep all this manageable by working on one thing at a time.

How long are you willing to wait after the download is availble to find out if NSD will release it on CD? Could be pretty painful listening to all of us talking about playing the game and not be able to play yourself.

Maybe they can supply the cover art as a PDF you can print out and put inside your own jewel case. Said jewel case could contain your Gettysburg backup files.

Some of the places we are talking to are willing to burn it to a CD and ship it. I would rather wait and create a nice package with a printed manual. I don't know if that will happen, but we all want a printed manual in there some day. But you might wait a long time if you are going to wait for the CD. Maybe I'll burn one just for you
