Got you. I try it again. That is how it was originally, when I first downloaded your work. And it didn't fully initialize that time. Your earlier scenarios do work, however.

Where does one find the log to post it?

Hey, never mind. I got it to work finally. Obviously I had done something wrong before. Looks good. Thanks for making this. Looking forward to crushing Doubleday's line. And bullying my way up Cemetery Hill. Woo!!! Here I come Yankees!!! Woo!!!

Hi, recently downloaded scenarios and I'm having problems getting the results of the 1st one to carry over. I beat\completed the first one "Little Powell's Assault" with a score of 3700, with the minimum for victory being 3000. But the program does not recognize this because whenever I try to load up the second scenario or any other it tells me that I need to complete "Little Powell's Assault; which I already did. Can anyone tell me whats going here?

The Major Victory requirement for the first scenario is 4,000, not 3,000. You are not far... Another run and you'll get it. :)

Hey LP!

When I started the fourth scenario in the series, I seemed to have lost several thousand troops from Heth's and Pender's divisions who weren't casualties in the 1st and 2nd scenarios. Was this by design? Thanks.

Best,
Gary

Ah, yes they do lose a lot of men in the 4th scenario. The first two scenarios are using the Day 1 Master OOB, and the 4th scenario is using the Day 2 Master OOB which has troop numbers subtracted to make up for losses. I should have just made the numbers the same as Day 1 so it would all depend on the carryover numbers.

My mistake.. Unless it's really bothering you, I'll fix it one of these days. :)

It would certainly make holding reserves and conserving troops in the first couple scenarios more rewarding. As it is, I lose about 2500 troops, mostly from Heth's division. However, it's not that pressing. I was able to score a victory, but it made the battle much hairier than it should have been given the way I conserved my troops in the previous scenarios.

So, unless it would be a lot of work, don't worry about it until you've got the time.

Cheers!
Gary

I'll see if I can get to it sometime next week. It's going to take a pretty big design change as I have to change the Master OOBs etc. I'll let you know when it's ready to go. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

Thanks, LP. Again, if it'll take a lot of time away from testing the features patch, or from your real life (lest we forget that the TSD team have wives, children, and jobs too) it can wait. But it would be cool, eventually.

Thanks, pal!

Wonderful idea and many thanks for wokring on this! But, whenever I start and try to a game, it stops and the game crashes at 'Drafting Chain of Command'
