I have a lot of thinking to do before I allow mods in multiplayer. The questions that you bring up are right down the line of why it's not allowed. I have to write an entire check routine before I can allow it, making sure all the files that matter are the same.
I will probably do it in two steps. First I will enable those that do not affect gameplay. I tried doing a quick fix with this, but it didn't work out for the patch. I need to probably separate some of the csv files first. Break gamplay from non gameplay. Right now so much of my time is spent in customer support and admin that I'm fighting to find coding time. It's supposed to be easier once the game's out, but it only got harder
We've got so much that we want to do, now have the same team doing support and development... We need more hours in the day.
