Scenario Editor

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Question for Kalliser:
Have you uploaded an updated version yet that doesn't mess with the core files yet?
Kalliser: I think you may have answered my question with the latest release. Thanks.

Cheers, guys...
But my software has never mess with the core ;)
My mistake then, Sorry for the inconvenience. Quick question, are you using XP, or Windows 7?

Later.

Hello,

Someone says me yesterdays they were a scenario editor for tc2m who have some nice functionnality.

But I'm unable to find him, can anyone give me a link ?

I will try to look what can i reproduce to improve my editor.

A big feature could be a drag box on the map in order to multiselect unit on map in order to made mass drag&drop unstead single drag&drop.

A nice feature asked yesterday would be the oob importer, it's easy to do so I will do it today :)

Sorry, I can't remember the name of the guy that had that TC2M scenario editor. Rebbugler would know, hopefully he'll chime in.

Keep up the great work Kalliser.

Note: I tried to give your editor a spin but the .NET installer never starts on my machine. I download, double click, but nothing happens. I'll see if I can find an alternate link for it. Does it have to be 3.5 or will 3.5 SP1 or other version work?

Little powell you talk about the framework installer i guess, since the editor has no installer.

Usually any version of the framework > 3.5 should works, you can install the last version

I have updated the software in v1.5 with a new functionnality : oob importer

I am having the exact same problem LP for 3.5 It just will not install. I'm in the process of downloading this version "Windows_Netframework_Fx40_Full_x86_x64".

Ok found a .NET that seems to work better.

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21

That one doesn't want to install either though since I have a newer version of .NET, version 4.

I'm not sure if that's the reason, but I'm getting Uanhandled Exception errors in the editor.
