Went fishing with that question in a place I thought I might get a bite :cheer:
Looking forward to testing it out!

I'm the same way. Every time I've tried letting division or brigade AI's do their own thing, that's what they do - their own thing. Recently played Jackson 1 (Groveton) and just gave the division commanders their objectives and let 'em go. Told Tallieferro to hold the farm - he immediately attacked into the woods! Told Hill and Ewell to assault Groveton - they attacked everything but Groveton!!! In fact it looked like Hill was studiously ignoring the village objective - even though it was empty of Yankees! Now I just pause a lot and run in bursts too and have been doing pretty well - just scored around 3500 with Stonewall on the Jackson 3 scenario last night.Fish_au wrote:Me too!i always played TC2M with every frontline unit under direct command no matter how big the battle.
meant pausing the game alot and letting it run in short bursts
