OK, been through all the templates and here's the list of the ones I like best.

Catalyst
Chromatophore
Colormatic
Dimensions
MediaMogul
Perihelion
Replicant
Synapse
Versatility
Vortex

The others are fine, I just like these best. Need to narrow this down. If anyone has one they really like that I didn't put on here, let me know. If someone really hates one of these on my list, let me know.

My thoughts on Norb's list:

Catalyst - good
Chromatophore - ok
Colormatic - ok
Dimensions - nah
MediaMogul - ok
Perihelion - good
Replicant - good
Synapse - good
Versatility - ok
Vortex- - ok

Of that list, these are the 3 I like:

Catalyst
MediaMogul
Perihelion

The others are either to blah or goth looking. Catalyst had to be my favorite....that wood panel look goes more with the ACW era than any of the others.

Guess I'm kind of fussy.

Of course I still like Stormtrooper.

First i love the new forums looks

Second i still like the Perihelion just because its hot off the press and huge looking,, fits ACW

Norb look on the left bar near the bottom the Web Designer has a choose Style
for the user to either have a background photo or no background

now im not sure if Rockettheme lets every template be setup like this if i had to guess i'd say yes maybe he's using a custom style module im not sure

but if this can set this up for the template thats choosen this should open up the ability for the user to change the style to what they like from the preset of styles or custom

pretty neat add on i'd say ...

an idea just smacked me up aside my head even though i do like Perihelion

Just a little heads up Norb......the little icons that you and Von have that indicate your gender/location/b-day are not showing up......they're just red x's.

This is much easier to read, but I liked the other smilies better.

Now something else weird has happened...........the text is all freaked out and my pic makes me look like a Hobbit!

I won't be able to choose a proper forum template under the site template is decided. This template has some good features, but there is a lot of white text on a light background. It does stretch out your picture. I got rid of the community builder module and stayed with the fireboard profiles. That's probably the difference.

Well I must say that your pic now is a better way of seeing you.
