You just said what I think many people are afraid to admit. I know there is a large number of people that only play this game on single player. They are simply intimidated with the multiplayer aspect.
I just wish that more people would give multiplayer a try. It adds a completely new dimension to the game. I don't even bother playing SP anymore, it just isn't the same as MP.
Don't be intimidated by the MP crowd. We really are open to help all the new guys who try it out. You have to understand that we (the multiplayer community) want to see our numbers grow, and that means that we need you new players and are more than happy to help you.
Are you afraid to make a mistake? Hell, I've made hundreds of mistakes online, but it's no big deal. Someone may tell you what you did wrong, but they only do so to help you get better. No one will scream at you.
Mikesla (or anyone else who reads this and only plays SP), as soon as you can, get out there and play some MP games. You will be amazed at what it is like to play against humans as opposed to the ai.
Mikesla,I for one won't be playing multi-player if I ever get highspeed. I would be too intimidated, and I wouldn't find any enjoyment in playing the game because I'd be more worried if I'm doing something that my commanding officer would later on in public curse me over.
