This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

I agree completly with you Saddletank. The only way to really get the full benefit of all the different elements that Martin has put in, and Mark's amazing map is to play in HITS.

And don't think it's just Custer and the Little Big Horn that's in there. Martin has put in enough to give the player a lot of options for different scenarios.

A further update on the two Mods I'm involved with:

LBH/1876 Campaign. This one is very much a joint project with Mark T. It includes 2 great bespoke maps from Mark for Rosebud and Little Bighorn, plus lots of excellent sprites from Pom. Progress has been delayed due to our various holidays, but we are now both back in harness, so work on the bespoke scenario generator will commence shortly. This will mainly be done by Mark (as frankly I'm not up to it!), but will involve some preliminary work from me on a master OOB. We will then both need to intensively test it before release.

ACW Flags & sprites. Will feature historical scenarios on 3 smaller battles in the Indian Territory in 1862-3, and possibly a couple of other larger Arkansas battles too. Includes a lovely map of Honey Springs from Mark T, plenty more terrific HD sprites from Pom, and some bespoke flags from RebBugler for the Confederate Indian troops. Will also include several sandbox OOBs to showcase the new sprites. This one is near completion.
