Spielberg's Lincoln

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

And now an advertisement made purely out of self-interest. If you are looking for a Civil War book to give as a Christmas present, try mine:

David P. Smith, FRONTIER DEFENSE IN THE CIVIL WAR: TEXAS RANGERS AND REBELS

Good gaming to all!!
I can endorse this. It's an excellent book on a little-known period in the Indian wars. And I don't even know David :)

It's still another two weeks before Lincoln gets released over here - I wonder what was the hold-up??

Lincoln wanted to bring the AoP with him . . .

Here is the Full Length Trailer for those who have not seen it yet. Personally, I think Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the all time greatest actors. I always watch, or purchase any movie he is in.

Saw it - great movie. Kept thinking of your book throughout Larry.

I loved the scenen in the movie where, "Another joke! he's going to tell another Joke!" during the attack on the fort :)
