The RunTime Error - I think has to do with the memory.

Click on your Taskbar and verify that the Computer is showing the memory that is installed.

You can also check this by clicking on the Start-Button \ Run \ and typing in DXDIAG .

Davinci: I checked and the memory is ok. I'm going to tinker with a few others things with the computer.

I am admitting defeat. I tried some programs that fixed registry problems, and attempted to fix the Visual C++ runtime error that I keep getting. To no avail.

So I'm reinstalling everything now. With fingers crossed.

Add the "Scourge Of War - Gettysburg" folder to the exception list of your anti-virus and/or security software. Then reinstall the game without uninstalling.

I uninstalled shortly after my previous post, which was early this morning. I sent a message to tech support asking to deactivate my game so that I could activate it (my code did not work--said I had an activation still running).

Because I had to reinstall my SOWG, I sent a request to tech support asking that my account be deactivated so that I could activate it again. I sent the request early this morning but have not heard back.

Perhaps I sent it to the wrong tech support address. If anyone knows where I should send such an activation request, please send me the address and I'll try again. Thank you.
