You have to extract the RAR file.
Thanks, AD. I should have known that!
Now, however, while the v.3 shows in Modifications and I have checked the yellow box for applications, I still have only the normal game flags, etc.
Must be another step I have overlooked.

The DRF only show up in the 'User Scenarios' and the sandbox OOBs ending with DRF.
I had DRF in the first patch, but have no DRF with the current patch. Again, I must have done something wrong!

Rebbugler - did Alabama have a new flag made, I had to desaturate the standard flag, to distinguish it from the others.

Not sure what you're asking. An Alabama State flag is included, blue with a seal in the middle. Also there are several Southern Cross versions.

Got it,I was looking for Alabama, instead of the Md_State_Ala.

Upgrade v04 now available. Continuing with toolbar additions, included now are Unit Status Reports and Terrain texts, basically making 'mouse over' info always available.
Also, artillery ammo amounts are immediately available now, without mouse over. Really more information and features necessary for my gameplay requirements, but once I started adding stuff, it just snowballed. I really just wanted a fast readout for canister levels. Still, designing this arty feature taught me a lot about functioning between the gui, guitext, and gfx files...so, definitely a worthwhile project. Besides, that space between toolbar islands wasn't being used, and was really just dead space. Hopefully the redundancy created will be ignored in favor of this rather pronounced addition.
Lots of other minor fixes and changes between these last two versions. Learned something new that was right under my nose...the gui can make separate CS and US toolbars...no more Yankee Rebel Yell.
Wanted to call this one 3.1, but the Mods folder won't read mod folder titles with periods, thus, we'll call this version v04...v31 would be kinda stupid sounding after v03.
I'm about out of toolbar ideas, and with no yea or nay feedback regarding specifics, I'm leaving this part of the mod for now. Thanks for all the positive overall feedback folks, it is greatly appreciated.
Got some great positive feedback regarding these included scenarios from General Dave (PrivateWilly) while we were testing. And he beat em'. They may be tough, but beatable, and guaranteed to keep the action happening. Try 'um out and feedback if you please...scenarios are my passion, those blue vs gray sagas are the essence of WHAT IF.
Ready for Download...Bugles and Flags v04

RebBugler - are there any changes to the flags , or is this just combining the flag mod, with the new toolbar mod?

No flag changes at all, or bugle calls. Flag design changes are always on my mind, they can always be improved upon. Gotta figure out photoshop first, so, it may be a while. Right now, Paint.Net has fit most of my needs regarding graphics...but photoshop offers much, much more. I especially would like to work with collapsing the flags intermittently...think that's available with the 'Traditional Distort' tool with photoshop.
So we can keep out mods compatible, continued communication is essential.
Thanks for asking Davinci

Can't wait to try your new toolbar RebBugler! Great stuff!
Everyone should give RebBugler's scenarios a try. The Wilcox & Lang and Barksdale scenarios are hard to beat. I finally beat them but it took me many tries.

Does v. 2 have to be in the game or is v.4 a "stand-alone" mod?
