OMG! You guys have got to fix this!...
Re:OMG! You guys have got to fix this!...
Pathing issues are the reason I am anxious to have a new map that features rolling hills and in many ways resembles the "Kansas" map - rolling hills, wooded areas minimal roads. I'd love to have a Gettysburg map with most man-made objects removed.

Under the Maps folder – look for the folder called packages , now do not delete this folder, just rename it to something like xpackages .
Now start the game, and the game will display three errors – just ignore these by pressing the ENTER key with each error.
Now the Map will load – but it will not load any of the objects !
To get the game back into the default state, just rename the folder back to the original name.
ADukes – I have also experienced the running of troops in the Sand-box-thing – without any units seeing enemy troops!
Path-Finding – is pretty interesting sometimes, but I have found that forming the units into column helps to move them around other units better.
Now, I know that the path-finding isn’t perfect, but sometimes I like the fact that the units will do some mind-bending maneuvers. It’s the charging across the open field that really upsets me!
Hey , another thing that you guys may consider is to alter the values that
you have listed in the OOB ,pertaining to the Open and Close columns.
I haven't tested this, but these values control the experience of the troops in tight situations!
