Scourge of War Boards

Decided to start over from scratch because I noticed graphics errors in the log.Would really like to know what causes these.Right now I am getting them and the units named in the errors are not even in the scenario yet.

Looks like that you have messed up the columns of the master OOB.

I see....guess that is a relatively easy fix. Thank you. I am very close to having this OOB done. The only thing left that I cannot figure out is why a handful of units will not let the scenario run... One Infantry regiment and a six gun battery.

I would like to ask one last question and then I will leave you guys alone.I hate being a pest. Here is the situation: If I take the original brickyard scenario exactly like it is and make it a Confederate scenario I get the above graphics log errors. If I make an OOB from scratch just using one infantry brigade per side I still get the log errors.I am certain that the columns are in place correctly. It seems like there is something about the brickyard scenario that makes it for use as a strictly Federal Scenario. Is there anything else that could cause the graphics errors?

Of course, if you use a master OOB as scenario OOB or the other way round.

Finally have a two corps confederate scenario made. Just three problems with it although it seems to run OK. 1: Cannot get rid of the graphics errors though all the units seem to show up fine. Really wish I could pinpoint why. 2: One Federal regiment has to be deleted because of causing a CTD. 3: The scenario will only run if I play as a Brigade commander. Get a CTD if I try to play as Division ,Corps ,or Army commander. Why that is is beyond me.

Guess I spoke too soon. I get a CTD after about 5 minutes into the scenario. Until I can figure out how to solve the graphics errors I am out of luck.

After three days of grueling non stop work I am finally ready to make a test run of my 1st Day Confederate scenario. Finally eliminated the graphics errors by substituting commander Reynolds for Howard. Also am able to play as any commander ... as it should be.Going to start off testing by playing as Lee. I ran the scenario for about 15 minutes and no CTD. Hopefully I will be able to make it the full 2 hours.

Well Davinci the test run was only a partial success. My scenario ran for one hour then I had a CTD. Something about the OOB is still not quite right. I am not showing any errors in the log. There is one single Federal regiment that I have to take out of the OOB otherwise it CTDs. Guess I will just have to keep expirimenting.
