Gunship and Others,
Tried last night to take guns auto-charging and manually with infantry - no joy. They just stopped and opened fire. The guns never blinked, then hosed them with cannister.
Will check out the new file posted and report back.

Forming my defensive square:
I noticed a button on the lower right when I choose my commander (Order multiculpepper or something, it's in french... :blink: ), and it doesn't do much that I can tell. When I choose an individual regiment there are no other buttons that would make them form a square...
I have seen some cool screenshot's... other than that nothing else.
So how do I get my men to form a square?

Download my mod for this mod. It's in the other Nappy thread. It has buttons for regimental and brigade squares plus several new formations.

MTG: I have tried both of your Nappy Mods, and neither of them are showing icons for issuing the command to create a square. I have tried both by coping them over to the "Napoleonic Mod 1809" folder overwriting the mods original(I didn't use the activate mod method), and nope, nada, not even a sniff.
The first screenshot is me in command, and the second is a regiment selected. I just can't find the icons...It's obvious I am missing something here.

Mike,
Scroll back up on the thread a bit. You'll find Gunships quick 2 line edit of how and where to insert those lines so you can form square. You will have to form them manually. I can't get MTG's mod to work either. As Gunship says, at battalion level, you'll have a second "column" button in the combat/formations area of the toolbar. when you scroll over it, it will show the word Square. There you go. Good luck.

Jack, is this the information you are talking about?
Open gui.csv and add this:
GUI_LVL6_Inf_Combat,GFX_BS_Buttons,939,655,,,,3,3,3,5,3,3,3,4,0,0,0,0,form:DRIL_Lvl6_Inf_Square,,Square,,,#formnum == 5,
GUI_LVL6_LINE_Inf_Combat,GFX_BS_Buttons,939,655,,,,3,3,3,5,3,3,3,4,0,0,0,0,form:DRIL_Lvl6_Inf_Square,,Square,,,#formnum == 5,
This will add another column button on both infantry toolbars but when you cursor over it it will say square. You will therefore have two column buttons like my screenshot and its the left one that will form square.
I have entered this information into the gui.csv, and I'm still coming up empty handed. I have run my mouse pointer over every conceivable pixel, and nothing is showing up saying "square".
I created a new sandbox game on each try, same results.
Thanks for the Help jack.
