I get the 'cannot find package file' error also. I've copied the .dat file to C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Base\Maps\packages and still the error. I've even tried renaming the file to 10MileMapV1.dat like all the other files. Still the error.
Does this map required one of the addons? I just have the base game patched up to 1.50 using the rev patch. All other maps that is listed in the mod thread work.
Also is there a 5x5 mile map that is fully detailed for SOWGB?

This is my fault, when I'm modding I seem to forgot the obvious, the
Antietam Map is required for this map to work correctly, due to the fact that some of the objects from that map was used in this map.

I think that there are two-recent-maps that should be 5x5 miles that were recently released.

Are you thinking of removing those objects so all of us can use this map? I bought Chancellorsville but not Antietam.

No, that would not be necessary,
you or
anyone else can still use the map.
Basically, to put this another way - If any map contains a
object from another map, and you don't have that map Installed, the map will still work, the object will not appear.(i.e...wooden cabin)
You should be able to just press the
Enter key when the game is loading and this will bypass the
error of
cannot find packages .
Also the game is designed so that if the user chooses, no objects will appear on the map.

Updated version coming soon. I've been meaning to create the installer for it, but just haven't been able to free up the time to. I hope to get it out by this weekend.

Nice job, the map looks quite a bit better than the first go around, and that one was impressive!
I'm wondering if you could grayscale the fences on the new map, so troops get a terrain bonus from them. Maybe you could even grayscale the fences on version one, so I don't take the fps hit from the new map with all the new names and such.
Great job!
