That is easy to mod. In the KS mod a fresh battalion in line will often stop a another fresh battalion of equal size and experience with musketry alone. If contact is made, the attacker is almost always forced to retreat and usually routs. That is with musket ranges of 100 yd, not the unrealistic 150 yd in the stock game.I can almost guarantee that I can take a battalion and walk it into contact with an enemy line unit shooting it the entire time. Musket fire power does not stop a moving unit. Gettysburg was and is the same way. Melee, melee, melee is all you need. Make your columns and move in firepower will not stop you.
