Also remember that Gettysburg was >Never< scaled to run full army. It was scaled to run the largest action during the actual battle of Gettysburg which was Longstreet's attack on day 2. That involved about 40K troops so that was our benchmark for the release of GB. On the systems of the day it would run 10-20 FPS which is plenty.

For Waterloo, we have included all of the performance improvements included in the GB patches as well as a significant number of changes such as threading to further improve performance. On a reasonably new PC with a strong processor you can get 10-20 FPS with over 200,000 troops on the battlefield. This is a five fold increase in playable troop numbers over GB and an improvement of that magnitude is not to be sneezed at.

On my machine I should be able to run the full Borodino OOB. Excellent news!

200,000 men? Holy c**p.

If this engine can withstand a second version I see a possible Leipzig release. To attempt the biggest battle in history prior to WWI in RTS format would be incredible and would be bound to get you many more customers.

Pity the person that has to create the OOB.
