Correct on copying any mods you want on your new system.
The SOWGB.ini file contains a variety of changeable information about the game such as option settings, installed mods turned on or off, MP lobby settings etc.

Thank you very much! Everything worked save the high scores - however, there were two other files (HighScore.dat and AddOnHighScore.dat) in my Work folder which I transferred and it now looks like my high scores have been saved.
(I assume MultiHighScore.dat is multiplayer high score? I couldn't locate that file but that's probably b/c I've never played multiplayer before).

Well it says on there website no downloads for Chancellorsville
Had to reenstall all of my programes after Windows went down, no problem except Chancellorsville

Yeah really not sure why CV is not available for download.. You'll want to contact Matrix support for that. They are usually quick to respond and will get you access to your game.
