Ok. This may be the reason. But it will depend on the mod in question. I think RB updated his mod but others may be causing your prob.

Brigade portraits are contained in the lvl5 dds. 1 for each side. The number of frames and angles are in the gfx.csv. A column in each oob points to various frame and angles (10-7 for example) as each points at a particular portrait.

I think the size of the lvl5 dds has changed from 11 frames to 22 frames across in patch 1.5. This file is now 2048 by 2048 instead of 1024 by 2048. No others have changed. The gfx.csv entries have changed to reflect this.

If an old mod includes an oob but no old gfx.csv or old lvl5 dds then this may confuse the portraits as the mod will look at the new stock entries.

Hope this helps but I can't swear that this is the problem.

If you experiment back up first.

Like always, the SDK will be last to follow...hang in there.

Crikey - Yes, that was the problem!

To solve the problem with the brigade commanders after reading your post, I just copied the two Lvl5 dds files into the Mods\Graphics\Toolbar file, basically the mod that has the OOB in it.
