If you don't have any other Matrix games, remove the whole Matrix entry, this will remove all the Matrix sub lines also, including the reg code. I'm assuming you just deleted the reg code sub line from what you said.

Please respond immediately, then wait, so the tech guys can jump-in in case I'm wrong. I'm learning this process also.

Ok, I deleted both the SOW and the Antietam Matrix folders, still no go

Did you just delete serial number in those extra entries, or did you delete the entire Matrix entry?

I deleted both Antietam and SOWGB sub folders under Matrix Games

Alright, it worked! The only problem is that I lost a lot of saved games, although not everything. Could be worse though. Thanks for all your help!

Great to hear charlesobscure. I am sorry it was such a pain for you. I don't understand how everything goes flawlessly for most people, others have a lot of trouble. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it soon, but I'm glad you are back up and running.

william - You might want to delete the entire Matrix games folder in your reg. Just remove all traces of the game. Then start from scratch. Uninstall SOW, install 1.4, then 1.5. I can't see how that won't do the trick.

Just in case William I avoided 1.4 and deleted all files associated with matrix and sow then installed the demo downloaded from the norbsoft link and went from the the installer asked for the activation codes and all went well once activated I installed each of my antietam and pipescreek add-ons. All worked fine after that.

When you say you deleted all of the files do you mean in the registry or in the windows folders?

Me again. I reinstalled 1.4, patched to 1.5, deleted Matrix Games folder in registry wowmode6432 thing. Still in demo mode.
